Would you like to hear more about what different States and localities have gone through to negotiate their MOU's? What about setting up the ITA's? And just what are the lessons States and locals have learned about effective youth programs? The Department of Labor is hosting "Voice of Experience" forums�an opportunity for you, as professionals in the workforce investment system, to hear the lessons learned on the implementation of the Workforce Investment Act from your colleagues in other States and localities. The focus of discussion will be on memoranda of understanding; governance/board issues; individual training accounts and eligible training providers; youth programs and building new partnerships. Registration is on a first-come, first-served basis as workshop size will be limited to encourage participants as well as presenters to share their experiences�the good and the always valuable "learning opportunities"! |
