    2. The Federal Register of August 25th included Notice of the Solicitation for Grant Applications (SGA) for ITA/Eligible Training Provider demonstration projects. Ten to twelve projects, up to $500,000 each, are expected to be selected. Applications will be accepted until November 8th. A bidders conference is planned for September.

    3. Regional Town Hall meetings to gather input regarding preparation of the Final Regulations concluded this period, with sessions in New York City and Los Angeles on August 24th, Seattle on August 25th, and Boston and Denver on August 26th. Summary information from the meetings will be made available early in September.
